Mechanical Assembly Expert
Description
On behalf of our client, we are looking for a Mechanical Assembly Expert for the India.
This is an 18-month assignment.
In this role, your responsibilities will include:
- Advising the client on the technical aspects of mechanical assembly.
- Validating the compliance of work carried out on site (plans, standards, specifications).
- Monitor the progress and quality of the project and suggest technical adjustments.
- Identify and resolve technical issues encountered in the field.
- Participate in project meetings and supervise subcontractors.
- Manage technical and quality documentation related to mechanical equipment.
- Support client teams throughout the assembly phase.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality rules on site.
Compétences
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 10 years' experience in the mechanical assembly of wastewater treatment plant or desalination plant installations, ideally on international projects.
- Solid knowledge of applicable international standards (ASME, etc.).
- Significant experience in a supervisory or technical assistance role.
- Excellent technical review, communication, and collaborative work skills with multicultural teams.
- Fluency in English is essential; knowledge of Arabic is an additional advantage.
